As the founder and owner of Hantz Executive Coaching, I specialize in empowering ambitious minority women who aspire to, or currently hold, executive leadership roles. My mission is to help my clients excel to the senior executive service and thrive as senior executives in government.
With a career that began as a secretary in federal government, I ascended to the Senior Executive Service, spending 16 years as an executive in the Inspector General community. My mantra, "Excellence Delivered," encapsulates my dedication to public service, which spans over 40 years including tenures at the United States Departments of Defense, Energy, and Labor.
I am an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. I received my Bachelor's of Business Administration Degree from Howard University and my Master's of Science Degree from Central Michigan University. I am also a Certified Public Accountant with over 40 years of government auditing and evaluation experience. My thought leadership includes appearances on YouTube discussing "If They Don't Give You a Seat at the Table, Bring a Folding Chair," and on the Government Matters TV show.
I am also a graduate of Harvard University’s “Negotiation Strategies” and “Leadership for the 21st Century” programs and the Federal Executive Institute “Leadership for a Democratic Society” program. I attended Syracuse University Maxwell School as a National Security Management Fellow. My formal recognition and achievements include Department of Defense Distinguished, Superior, and Meritorious Civilian Service Awards; Mentor of the Year Award; and Council of Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency Award of Excellence.
